The Polar Nights Singing Competition

Proudly celebrated an unforgettable night of music, talent, and artistic expression, highlighting the incredible voices of new and emerging performers. Created to give rising artists a platform to shine, connect with an audience, and grow in their artistic journey.

We are honored to announce the winners of this year’s competition:

• Second Place: Wendy “La Voz Popular”
• Third Place: Noeli Gomez
   

It was presented and organized by the Venezuelan Music Festival, with the valued support of Polar NY and Astoria Beer Depot, whose continued commitment to the arts helps create meaningful opportunities for emerging performers.

The event was led by Mila Chacón, Director of the Venezuelan Music Festival, and Maui Parada, Project Manager and Production Coordinator, with the helping hands of Fundavenyc and our partners Sol Dance Center and Opus Ethica School of Music, whose collaboration and support were essential to the success of the competition.

The competition was judged by an esteemed panel of industry professionals: Maryorie Flores, Jose Terán, y Tomás Sánchez, whose expertise and artistic insight played a key role in selecting this year’s winners.

The evening featured a diverse and vibrant program, with performances across multiple genres and styles, and Latin Connection as guest artists, reflecting the rich cultural diversity and creative spirit of the artists involved. Each participant brought a unique voice and story to the stage, making Polar Nights a true celebration of talent, community, and music.
